Congratulations you completed your KCSE and got a good grade. No matter the grade you got be proud of it. A grade is just a letter until you find out how it can help you to achieve your dreams and happiness.

Now is the time to think which course you shall purse.

1. Your passion

It's good to choose a course that corresponds with your passion. Don't be mislead by thinking that you shall gain passion as you pursue your course. If you choose something that you are  much interested in, it helps to gain confidence to continue pursuing it even when it seems hard. Your interests matters

2. Job market

You are pursuing that course so that you can get employment or promotion. It's wise to check on the market of a course before you pursue it . Don't pursue an outdated course that doesn't have employments. Do some checkups online. Some courses are much needed in employment market than others

3. Is the course accredited

Don't just pursue a course just because it's being offered, kindly do a research to know whether the course is accredited to be offered by that college or university. People find latter that they wasted their time and resources doing a course that is not allowed to be done in that college or university.

4.Cost and duration

It's advisable to check on the cost and duration of the course. Short courses are good for certificates if you need an advancement. Long duration course may require much capital.

Talk to current students or alumni of that course. Also have a talk or chat with a career advisor ,they may provide important insights. Getting a right course for you leads to achieving your long-term goals.
