Exams Ahead ,Take Caution ⚠
Prepare yourself to face the exam with full confidence like a .....
Here is how :
a) Start revising early: Avoid rushing the last minutes or days. It's good to start your revising early like two weeks before exam.
b) Review the course material regularly: Reviewing the material on a regular basis will help you retain the information and better understand the concepts. Set aside some time each day to review the course material. Set aside more time for the complex course unit.
c) Make a study timetable: plan when you to study for a certain unit and stick to the schedule. This will help you manage your time effectively and ensure that you have enough time to cover all the required materials. Much time for the hard context. Remember :"To fail to plan, is to plan to fail".
d) Go through past papers: Past papers can assist you gauge your understanding of the course and identify any areas that you need to focus much on. Most questions in past papers are the ones that will be repeated in your exams ,but using a different format or sometimes direct as they were in past papers. So it's good to check on those past papers.
e) Have a 7-8 hrs sleep: Make sure to get enough sleep before the exam. Being well-rested will help you focus and perform your best. Also it will help your mind to remember almost everything. They say "Good sleep equal to good memory".
f) Don't go to exam room hungry : A healthy meal will help to fuel your brain and improve your concentration.
g) Arrive early but not too early: Arrive at exam room 10 minutes before exam, to allow yourself time to relax and mentally prepare.
During Exam:
h) Read the exam instructions very carefully before you begin. It help's you understand what is expected of you and how to approach the exam.
i) Read question two to three times so as to understand it before you start answer it. They say "A question/problem understood is half solved/answered". Don't rush to answer , check to confirm you understood the question.
j) Right pace: Don't spend too much time on any one question. If you get stuck, move on and come back to it later if you have time.
k) Don't be anxious, be calm: If you feel anxiety , take a deep breath in and out and try relaxing. It's normal to feel anxious before an exam, but try to stay calm and focus on the material.
