Do you believe in yourself? Do you know you are the best? Self-confidence can't be gained in one day, it's a journey and requires effort and time. Its a very valuable skill to have.
Here is how to build it slowly:
i) Set goals and work towards achieving them. Don't waste time, start working on the goals one at a time. Achieving a goal can help you to gain much confidence in yourself.
ii) Take good care of yourself. Your health matters , mental, physical and spiritual health. Take good care by getting enough sleep, eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and get a spiritual father/mentor.
iii) Don't entertain negative thoughts about yourself. If you find yourself thinking negative concerning yourself, try to change it to positivity. Remember you have some strengths and you can't be someone else. Everyone has weaknesses and strengths, but don't let the weaknesses to control you.
iv) Ask for assistant/support from friends and family. You should surround yourself with people who can support you in what you do and who believes in you. People who believes in you can be a great support for you to improve and attain your goals.
v) Expand your knowledge. Try to learn a new thing or skill, read some worthy books. Expanding your knowledge can help boost your self-confidence. They say "knowledge is power" , get that power by gaining knowledge.
vi) Don't be afraid to admit your mistakes and learn from them. Try new things and if you fail don't give up, learn from the mistake and next time do the task in a proper way. They say "mistake is not a mistake, mistake is repeating the mistake more than twice". Accept to be corrected when you make a mistake and get the knowledge.
vii) It's good to accept compliments. A compliment of a goal achieved or thing done well should motivate you to gain more confidence on yourself. When someone does something well or achieves a goal ,compliment them. No matter how small an achievement you have made, compliment yourself and accept other people's compliments.
It's good to note that building self-confidence takes time, and you should be patient with yourself, maintain positive attitude and be consistent.
